Spring brings colour to the castle garden
Mid-April to around mid-May 2010

For around four weeks, spring brings a riot
of colour to the gardens of Wildegg
Castle. Thousands of
bulbs open the season in the 3,300 m2 kitchen garden and pleasure
garden. A wide selection of tulips (around 80 varieties) are harmoniously
combined with hyacinths, narcissus, violets, parsley, chives and many others to
give a real breath of spring. Each tulip variety is labelled with its name and
type.
There’s also a competition to choose the tulip queen.
